their old 600 gallon pond of 12 years aiming for one

Our Tiki Tour Saturday provided a new view of four different,
lovely water features. Night tours give us opportunities

Box Final Work Day
A good number of members, almost new members, family
and friends came to move the hardy plants from the Jewel
Box to the mud-bottom lotus pond, and the tropicals
to the greenhouse. See our photos here.

New Society Horticulture Advisor
Mary Ann Fink, last month's speaker, has volunteered
to be our Society's Horticultural Advisor! A Master
Gardener who encourages the use of native plants, and
founding ambassador of the Plants of Merit program at
the Missouri Botanical Garden, she will be writing articles
for Water Word and is willing to answer our plant

Good Turnout for 2008 Summer tour
About twenty-five people came to tour the lily ponds
at Tower Grove
Park Sunday. Pam started us off with a variety of
drinks; Ben Nowak and Steve Hogenmiller gave us plant
maps; and they were soon explaining the changes to the
pond, telling about what is planted where and pointing
out some wildlife. See our photos.
